Hello Rogue Valley Corvette members and prospective members. We are hoping that your summer is going well and meeting all your expectations. We have been busy for the last six weeks with club activities and there are many more scheduled for the coming weeks.
Here is a summary:
6/2 – 17 RVC members met for lunch and interaction at the Wild River Brewing Co. in Grants Pass.
6/10 – Weather, 40 degrees and rain, prompted the need to cancel RVC’s annual trip to Pack’s Cabin for our June meeting that we all look forward to each year. The relocation to Mac’s Dinner was a good call and we all had a good time.
6/17 – The Medford Cruise and car show. RVC provided 20 cars to block the streets for the cruise that started at 5pm and continued until 8pm. Everything seemed to go well, but the number of cruise cars appeared to be somewhat less than last 2 years.
6/21 – 17 RVC members joined the High Sierra Corvette Club at The Inn at the Commons in Medford to celebrate High Sierra’s 10th anniversary with an enjoyable buffet and social hour.
6/22 -25 – RVC had 7 cars go south to Corvettes at Tahoe and join up with over 200 other Corvettes from all over the country. We stopped at the McCloud Golf Course for breakfast then on to Susanville and up the Mt. Rose Highway to Lake Tahoe. The view from the top of Heavenly Valley Ski lift was spectacular —clear and warm.
6/30 – Lunch in Jacksonville was attended by 16 members followed by visits to several wineries in the area.
7/7 – First Friday was at the Texas Roadhouse in Medford and attended by 17 RVC members.
7/8 – The July meeting was held at John & Sharon Warren’s Garagemahall in Grants Pass. 27 members attended.

REMINDER TO ALL RVC MEMBERS:
September 9th RVC annual Car Show on the grass at Jacksonville. This is the time of year we need 100% member participation. Site prep will occur on Friday with show starting early Saturday. The more members that show up to work the more the work load can be distributed allowing everyone to enjoy the show. All members should call JOHN WARREN or MARILYN PACK to volunteer. This is the clubs time to shine.
