12/1/2009December Presidents LetterFirst of all, I want to thank all of you who attended our November Meeting and brought food donations for ACCESS. We received a very gracious appreciation letter from them and just to let you know – our contributions totaled 115 lbs of food. ACCES feeds more than 3600 families every month and I am sure that our donation helped a bit. (A copy of the letter can be read in it’s entirety on the members section of the website.)
It is hard to believe that 2009 is already coming to a close. What a year and what great memories you have all created. Thank you all for your time, efforts and contributions to making Rogue Valley Corvettes a premier Corvette club.
I am sure that 2010 will bring us not only many new adventures but also we will have an opportunity to revisit some past popular events. I encourage all of you to suggest new ideas and to also volunteer to “host” an activity. The success of RVC is due to the active involvement of it’s members – thank you.
With the holiday season quickly approaching, I am reminded of fond times past with family and friends and look forward to creating even more in the future. At this time, I think we all need to acknowledge the tremendous service that our men and women in the military provide for us. May they all return safely to their families and homes.
