The January Social, planned by Marilyn Pack, turned out to be a real hit. Thirty five RVC members started with lunch at Antonio’s then off we went to the Butte Creek Mill. If you have never been to this historic site you should take the time to go for a visit. The owner’s, Bob Russell, enthusiasm really shoes through as he talks about the mill and it’s history. We then drove out to Lake Creek – for ice cream, of course. Thank you, Marilyn for a most enjoyable day.
This month we have members who will be helping Rogue valley Street Rods with their Rod and Custom Show at the Jackson County Expo. This will be the 33rd year of this prestigious event. Be sure to attend this special show – their net proceeds benefit the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center up at Oregon Health & Science University.
On February 20th, Lori Hale has set up a dinner social for us at the Red Lobster in Medford. Check out the information on the Event Listings and be sure to let Lori know if you will be there.
Even though we are over 6 months away from our 5th Annual fall Classic, Bob and Colin have been busy working on it. The Posters are done, the Registration Forms completed and sales have started for the Trophies and Plaques. They will be mailing out over 200 packets to people who have previously attended the event. Now is the time to start approaching some of your local businesses for support. If you need any information to help you in these endeavors please let Bob or Colin know.
The Activities Calendar is starting to take shape and thank you to all of you who are heading up an event. Be sure to check out the web site to see what is happening and who is going.
