6/12/2010SHELDON'S ICE CREAM SOCIAL & WINERY TOUR
Once again the weather in Southern Oregon cooperated with us. On Saturday, June 12, RVC members from Grants Pass and Medford drove over to Joe & Dianne Sheldon’s in Klamath Falls. They were met by the members from that area and we all lined up in Joe’s circular driveway. Joe led the group to a new winery in Bonanza, 12 Ranch Wines, where we enjoyed hors d’oeurves and sampled wines.
At the winery, Jim Pack filled us in on all the information about the Medford Cruise coming up the following week. It is the 25th Anniversary of the event that attracts a number of people from all over the Northwest.
Upon returning to the Sheldon’s home, 39 members and 2 guests enjoyed a picnic lunch. The monthly meeting took place, led by VP Bob Cambas. Then everyone enjoyed the ice creams, cakes, and pies provided by the Sheldon’s. Once again, we all had a wonderful time. Thank you, Joe and Dianne for hosting this fun annual event.
